Faxing Using Multifunctional Devices

Multifunctional Devices are extensively being used as a replacement for conventional office fax machines. These 'business' mfd's will normally have a big advantage over conventional fax machines as they are designed for a heavy throughput of paper (for copying, printing and scanning) and therefore will offer greater capacity and speed amongst other benefits.

One-touch buttons may be set up on the touch screen displays of the mfd's so that the most frequently dialled numbers are available instantly as speed dials.

Faxing can also be accomplished using the Ecopy connectors with fax applications such as Rightfax, this can result in the recipient of the fax viewing the document in their email inbox without the need to print the document at all.
